Cliff's Links

Make a Note of It

"CliffsNotes, a boon or crutch for students, depending on your perspective, plans to announce Tuesday that its 180 literature guides can be read free at cliffsnotes.com. Students who want to download and print the guides will be charged $5.99, the same price as the printed version of the book. It's part of a plan to attract more traffic to the Web site, which also promotes other study guides." [USA Today, Gadgetopia]

Interesting. I wonder if public libraries will also link to the free versions. As the article notes, SparkNotes are also free online.
