« Archive of My Presentations | Main | "After Tax Caps, a Librarian Watches the Funds Dwindle" » Television Taking a BeatingThere’s another interesting poll up at Yahooligans right now. It asks which you would rather have in your bedroom - a TV or a computer. Results? Computer by a margin of two-to-one, and that figure has been constant all day. Two-way, interactive media trumps one-way, monolithic box. BTW, another interesting little factoid. If you go to Synonym.com and do an antonym search for “interactive,” the synonym is “synergistic” and the antonym is “antagonistic.” Kind of puts the whole DRM, Broadcast Flag, and “VHS will be the death of the movie industry” debate in the proper perspective.
