A quick note to make sure that if you're coming to the ALA TechSource Gaming, Learning, & Libraries Symposium that starts on Sunday (July 22) and you plan to participate in the open video gaming that night, please be sure to sign up on the Advance Tournament Registration page. Three of the five games require pairs play, so we'll help you make a new friend if you don't have a buddy to sign up with.

There's more information on that page, including a list of the games we'll be playing. There will be prizes to win, but as lottery players say, you have to be in it to win it. And to be in it, you have to sign up by 5:00 p.m. on July 22, 2007. Did I mention you have to sign up?

We'll also have some great board game play, with prizes to win, but you don't have to sign up for those. You do have to be in the room to play, though. I'm sorry but if that's a problem for you, I can't help you with that one. :-p

We also have a special present for you, just for showing up at the Symposium. I can't say anything more about that or else it wouldn't be a secret.
